Our beautiful cottage overlooks Green Bay on tranquil Lake Manitou. The cottage is fully furnished and has everything you need for a relaxing family vacation experience. The main cottage has 3 bedrooms, with the master bedroom having a queen bed and sliding door to the deck. There is a small bedroom containing a set of bunk beds, while the remaining bedroom contains 2 twin beds.There are 2 bathrooms in the main cottage, with the master bath containing a handicapped accessible shower, stool, sink and a stack washer and dryer. There is a half bath off the kitchen with a stool and sink. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender and crock pot. All dishes, utensils, pots and pans are provided. Internet and local phone service are also provided. The family room has a television (no cable or satellite), DVD player and stereo. We have a large number of books that cover most reading preferences. Attached to the garage is a guest bedroom that has a full sized bed and bathroom with a shower, stool and sink. All the rooms in the cottage have varnished pine walls and are carpeted throughout, with the exception of linoleum in the kitchen and bathrooms. Please bring your own sheets, pillow cases and bathing towels.

We have a large sundeck that attaches to the entire east side of the cottage and guest bedroom. The bird feeders attract a large variety of our feathered friends, with squirrels and chipmunks also competing for a share. There is a lower deck over the shoreline and dock, and we have ample patio furniture for all. There are 50 stairs from the upper deck to the dock, that can also be accessed by a walking path through the cedars. The cottage and upper deck are wheelchair accessible. The lower deck and dock are accessible to electric mobility scooters using the walking path with a tender. Our private dock is large enough to accommodate chairs, sunbathers and swimmers. There is space to store a canoe/kayak below the lower deck if you wanted to bring one with you, or there are rentals available on the island.

For an additional cost, fisherman and boaters can store their vessels in a sheltered cove and dock that can accommodate boats up to 20 feet in length. Also available for an additional cost is a 6 person hot tub on the upper deck. We will consider pets, but this must be by prior arrangement. The average rental period is weekly but all is negotiable, please call for further details.

Our cottage is centrally located between the major towns of Little Current and Mindemoya, that offer grocery stores, Beer Stores/LCBO's, pharmacies, hardware stores, libraries, restaurants, veterinarians, medical centers and banks. The Island has attractions for everyone, including 3 golf courses, charter fishing, bicycling, First Nation Pow Wows and shopping. For the hiking enthusiast, we are only 10 minutes from the world famous Cup and Saucer Hiking Trail.
