Beside Still Waters Farm is nestled on over 21 picturesque acres of forest and pasture. Our proximity to the ocean means we enjoy wonderful weather year round, without the heavy fog (although we get a bit some mornings and evenings.) Instead of city lights, a blanket of stars will tuck you in at night. The setting is peaceful and private - the only crowds are the local deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, foxes, and quail.

We're far from the noise of downtown traffic, but just 8 miles from Highway 101. Ridgewood Ranch - Home of Seabiscuit is just to our South. All aboard! Enjoy a ride through the towering redwoods on the historic Skunk Train - we'll pack a picnic for you! If you're looking for a glimpse of western life long ago - visit The Mendocino County Museum or The Grace Hudson Museum and Sun House. Train enthusiasts won't want to pass up a trip to the Roots of Motive Power Museum. With a location central to Mendocino, Ft. Meadowood Guesthouse has a masterbedroom with a wonderful handmade king-sized bed with luxurious linens. There is an oversized bedside whirlpool tub inside the room. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The bathroom upstairs has a tub/shower, hair dryer, and heated towel bar. The livingroom has a queen sleeper sofa, gas fireplace, satellite TV/VCR/DVD, and games. The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, and microwave. All utensils, dishes, pots & pans, and bakeware are provided. There's even a spice rack for your use. The laundry room has a washer and dryer, sink and toilet. Laundry detergent and fabric softener are provided.
