Terry's Bayside Getaway is located just steps from the Atlantic Ocean in the picturesque community of Harbour Main on Conception Bay, 45 minutes west of St. John's. The property has been called charming and relaxing by our previous guests, and a great home base for outings to enjoy Newfoundland's culture, geography and wildlife.

Our former family home includes all modern conveniences, but we’ve kept the fine 1927 woodwork and some of the now-retro look introduced by our parents in the 1960s. On the ground floor we have a dining room with 1930s furniture and a living room with satellite HDTV, a computer and wireless Internet. The large eat-in kitchen is fully equipped and extends to an area containing a sink, dishwasher and laundry pair. There is a half-bath off this area. On the second floor, there are three comfortable bedrooms with a double bed in each, a bright, spacious shower/powder room and a half-bath.

Outside, you’ll enjoy a spacious, private wraparound deck with a BBQ and dining set, facing a large backyard with mature trees and lots of shrubs and flowers. At the back of the yard, the shaded deck facing the harbour is an added bonus. That deck also has plenty of seating, a fire pit, and is partially covered by a glass-roofed pergola.
