Historic Prince William House one Block from Waterfront
29 Prince William, a charming 1840s 16-room home, located on a hill overlooking the Annapolis Basin and the Raquette. This large clapboard and gingerbread house is furnished with a variety of antiques and retro furniture yet offers all the modern amenities including two full bathrooms, laundry, modern kitchen, large dining room and three living rooms. The house is situated in a very quiet area with its treed lot and stone walls, maintaining a country atmosphere of times past. A two-minute walk will bring you to the waterfront, the very active fishing wharf and marina, Digby's artists co-operative, main street shops and restaurants. A short drive will bring you to the ferry to St. John (New Brunswick), Annapolis Royal (est. 1605) with its world class farmer s & artisan s market and historical sites and gardens, and to the quaint historic village of Bear River, half built on stilts over the river.

The town of Digby is central to many activities, including many historic sites such as Port Royal (1604) and Fort Anne (1629), some of the best whale watching in North America, National and Provincial parks, long sandy beaches, hiking and bicycling trails, sailing and kayaking, and a Sir Stanley Thompson masterpiece, the Digby Pines Golf course. Known as the scallop capital of the world, and nominated Canada s most romantic spot by Canadian Living magazine, Digby offers spectacular vistas of the Annapolis Basin, mild weather, clear crisp air and, of course, the incredible Bay of Fundy tides (28 to 35 ft).
