Small, comfortable two bedroom cottage on Mount Desert Island, near Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park on island shuttle route. Fully equipped kitchen, enclosed porch, 2 small bedrooms, small bath with shower only. Pets OK with additional fee, $50 week. Refundable (after departure) security deposit required, $200 without pet, $250 with pet. Walk to store, bank, shops, restaurants, walk to Western Bay, great for kayaking, clamming, bird watching, harbor seal observation. Residential neighborhood, but private, with woods only across from cottage. We furnish everything except your food, towels and sheets. Queen size bed in main bedroom, bunk beds in second bedroom, good for kids.Yard with picnic table, charcoal bbq, outdoor fireplace. $475/week for 1-2 persons, $25 for each additional person over age 5, up to four, maximum. Rental agreement required along with deposit to hold your week.
