Located on Cape Sable Island where sand beaches share the shoreline with the colorful fishing fleets that fill the harbours in this bustling fishing and boat building village, where the sea shapes an entire way of life. The island is the southern most tip of Nova Scotia joined to the mainland by a causeway. The town boasts a beautiful boardwalk that meanders through the wharves and parks of town. Some of the finest sand beaches for sitting or strolling are within minutes of the house as is one of the finest birding areas in the province. Less than 1 hour from Yarmouth ferries. Major food, pharmacy, hardware, dollar and boutique shopping, as well as fast food and other restaurants 10 minutes. The house is a 1 3/4 storey century home on 2 acres of rock and gravel shoreline, great for catching spectacular sunsets. Furnished with 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds, fully equipped kitchen, dishes, cutlery, linens etc. living room with TV and VCR with a selection of movies (no cable).
