Our cottage is located on Lac Morin, Quebec. Lac Morin is 78 kilometers (46.36 miles) from Ottawa, Ontario and 2 kilometers (1.24 miles) from Val des Bois, Quebec. The cottage is situated on a 3.5 acre lot within a beautiful forest, along a 250 foot shoreline.

Our cottage is a nature lover's delight. Enjoy a hike in the mature woods that surround the cottage, or swim and fish in the lake to which the cottage faces. Moreover, guests have full access to a canoe, and a row boat that is equipped with an electric motor (gas powered motors or other noisy toys are not permitted on the lake).

The cottage itself has: a large kitchen; a living room with an open concept cathedralic style ceiling; a large bay window that overlooks Lac Morin; a bedroom on the first floor that sleeps 3 (one single bed and a trundle bed); and, a master bedroom on a second floor. The cottage also has a television and V.C.R. for movie viewing. Other amenities include: electricity & hot water; a bathroom with a tub & shower; a barbeque; a wooden deck that hugs most of the cottage; a microwave; a stove; a fridge; as well as, an assortment of pots, pans, cutlery and dishes.

The cottage rents for $600/week from June 1 to September 7 and for $480/week from September 8 to November 4. The cottage is unavailable the rest of the year. For weekly rentals, guests are asked to check-in on Sundays at approximately 2 p.m. and check-out on Saturdays at approximately 11 a.m. Furthermore, guests are asked to provide a $250 non-refundable deposit in part payment for every week they plan to book, at the time of booking (this deposit can be sent via mail). The deposit is not a cancellation penalty, rather it amounts to liquidated damages in the event that a guest decides to cancel after booking.
