You have discovered the perfect cabin getaway near Stevens Pass. It is like Shangri-La with its serene awesome beauty, inspiration for the mind and soul, and total privacy, quietness, and seclusion with no houses and the only road is the private Harmony Lodge road.

The lodge is nestled in a forested valley above 2,000 feet of river that dances in waterfalls over river rocks in the middle of 50 privately owned acres. The property goes up the side of a mountain, up the side of another mountain, and up and down the valley. The view of the mountains, river with sparkling waterfalls, and sky is magnificent.

The lodge was designed in 1929 by a renowned architect as a hunting lodge for senators and was used for this purpose until the 1960s, when it was purchased by someone who owned until the mid 1990s. The current owner is now sharing this preserved facility and land with you.

There is a 725 square foot deck surrounding the lodge. On the deck on one side of the lodge is a 25-jet deluxe hot tub with a view that overlooks the cascading river and Mount Index, and a large outdoor gas barbeque is on the deck on another side of the lodge that overlooks the river that appears to dance and sing with joy and Mount Baring.

The lodge is 1,000 square feet, so there is lots of room to stretch out and relax with corners to get cozy in the furniture and enjoy the views from the various sides of the house. The lodge has very large windows with panoramic views that overlook the river, mountains, and sky.

The lodge is fully furnished and equipped, so all you need to bring is changes of clothes and basic foodstuffs to prepare in the full-size, fully equipped modern kitchen that even has basic spices and condiments. If you wish to dine out, restaurants are only a 10-minute drive. We even have for your special convenience in the bathroom a hair dryer and body soaps. There is a bedroom with wonderfully preserved antique furniture including a full size bed that overlooks the wonderful river. There is a 325 square foot great room with two new very comfortable couches that fold out to full-size beds located next to the large windows. Another chair folds out to a bed for a child. There is a beautiful teak room divider for privacy that does not obstruct the window views. There are three cozy fireplaces that add beauty to Harmony Lodge. There is a DVD/VCR with over 100 movies from adventure to romance and a selection of children s favorites. There are books on hiking in the area and the history of the area. There are board games. There is a CD player.

As a cozy, comfortable additional sleeping space for your group, we are renovating the 125 square foot cabin near the Harmony Lodge. It will have a deck, a sliding glass door that overlooks the river and mountains, a queen size bed, a couch that converts to a full-size bed, and a cozy fireplace.

On the property, you can hike on trails, swim in the river, and fish for salmon and steelhead, and swing in the hammock over the river edge. American Bald Eagles roost in the trees outside the lodge. There is constant fun activities nearby the Harmony Lodge property also, such as the Stevens Pass ski area, river rafting, inner tubing or fishing in the Skykomish River, hiking on developed and uncrowded trails, kayaking, rock climbing, horseback riding, hot springs, browsing antique and art stores, cozy taverns and restaurants, and stores that sell or rent equipment needed for these outdoor activities.

Children age 24 months and younger stay for free. We are pet friendly. Harmony Lodge is available year round. We book nightly, weekends, weekly, and monthly.
