Best Fishing on Sturgeon Lake
Long Beach Cottages is a friendly family fishing location in the beautiful Kawartha's on scenic Sturgeon Lake, only one and a half hours from the Toronto area! The lively City of Lindsay or the quaint Town of Fenelon Falls are both only 10 minutes away, and include golf, boat cruises, go-carts, shopping, live theatre, and museums. Area attractions are the locks at Fenelon Falls, the large Ken Reid Conservation Park, or two nature trails with their bevy of wildlife. Of course at Long Beach Cottages the fishing is the biggest attraction, with pickerel, muskie, bass, perch, and pan fish for your pleasure. Our Fish Hut awaits your catch and we have 14' Sylvan deep-V boats with 9.9 four-stroke Honda motors for rent at $50. a day or $225. a week. Our activities include a badminton/volleyball net, horseshoe pits, and a shallow sandy beach and picnic table area. Our large comfortable cottages are steps from the Lake and have fully equipped kitchenettes, living rooms with color TV/VCR, three-piece bathrooms, and cozy bedrooms. Each cottage has an excellent view of the Lake, with a propane BBQ on the deck and picnic tables and firepits at your site. Friendly pets welcome. Free tubing & paddleboats in summer.
