Location: Peter Hope Lake Resort and our cabin is, on the #5A halfway between Merrit and Kamloops. A 3-4 hour drive from the Lower Mainland. It consists of 30 privately owned lakeside cabins on 15 wooded acres. Inside the property, there is a chilren's playground and 2 common docks. The area is surrounded by forested crownland, great for hiking, mountain biking, ATV, snowmobile, snowshoeing, backcountry x-skiing, hunting, and fishing.

The Lake: A short drive from the lower mainland, Kelowna or Kamloops, but with a remote feel, Peter Hope a small sport fishing lake, about 1 X 1.5 miles in size. It's great for,canoe, kayak, and small electric or gas motors and also warm enough to swim in. The area is a natural bird nesting habitat. Ice up Nov-May.

The Cabin: Is new, comfortable and tastefully furnished. and sits on a rear 1/2 acre lot affording ample privacy yet easy lake access. It's 1,300 sq. ft. loft style with great room, 3 bedrooms +2 full bath, woodburning fireplace, electric heat, 6 major appliances, +DVD/VCR/stereo/CD, movie library, and board games.

There is just a 20 minute drive to get to nearby Nicola Lake and Quilchena resort for Golf, powerboating or sailing on that big lake. Firewood/linens and paper goods are provided along with basic cooking staples and condiments.
