Cottage Details: Two, 4 piece bathrooms, full kitchen, including dishwasher and microwave. Weber BBQ outside in BBQ shed with overhead light. Purification water system, no hauling water to the cottage or wondering if you can brush your teeth with the tap water.

20" TV in the family room, satellite receiver with movie & sports packages, small stereo, and Microsoft XBox (with a collection of games).

Full size washer and dryer on site. The amenities of home in a private setting but only 10 minutes from town.

There are games, puzzles, many books (some about the area), lawn chairs/patio chairs, picnic tables, sandbox, horseshoe pits, a canoe, quite a number of things to help you enjoy your stay.

Property Details: On Patterson Bay, a small bay on a large lake called Lake Kagawong. The cottage is near the centre of the island about 15 minutes to Gore Bay and 20 minutes to Mindemoya.

There is a large floating dock, and a boat lift at this cottage. There is room to park many vehicles (10+).

With about 1/2 acre of lawn there is 600+ feet of lake front with an eclectic mix of open field, cedar, and mixed forest around the cottage. The shoreline is limestone with cedar forest (closest public sandy beach is in Gore Bay about 15 minutes away). There is a path through the bush on the property where you may see mink, fishers, deer, porcupine (as long as you don’t touch them they are harmless), snowshoe hare, the list goes on and on, this is a nature lovers paradise.

There is a bonfire area, sand box, horse shoe pits, volleyball net, washline, Weber BBQ.

Manitoulin Island Cottage Rental Availability:

Saturday to Saturday rentals during High Season (see above schedule for High Season dates, generally mid June to long weekend in Sept):

Check in, Check out times: Check out by 9:00 AM, check in not before 3:00 PM. High Season is rented Saturday to Saturday, Off Season rentals can start on any day of the week and check in and out times are more flexible.

Pets: Please verify with us if you plan to bring pets. Pets are allowed on the main level of the cottage. We charge $50.00 extra/pet/week.
