Oceanfront with Sandy Beach
We have two, year round, homes on the open ocean in Kingsburg, Nova Scotia. The village of Kingsburg (c.1754) is considered to have the most naturally beautiful setting of any village on the South Shore (Lighthouse Route) of Nova Scotia. It's classic glacial drumlins, two long sandy beaches, cliffs, bluffs and coastal hikes were recently featured on a national television documentary. Listen to, and see, the surf from your bed. Watch the sun and moon rise right out of the ocean. One house is a 160 year old, one room schoolhouse with a sleeping loft. The other is a new beach house with two sleeping lofts joined by a bridge. The houses are finished in pine inside and have Vermont Casting wood stove/fireplaces and washers and dryers. They are fully equipped, and ideal for individuals, couples, families and small groups. This is a quiet, out of the way place, with abundant wildlife. It is not unusual to see whales, dolphins, seals, deer, pheasant, etc. You can also pick wild berries in season. Open year round.
