The Alaska Birdhouse is quiet, homelike and peaceful. Often described by our guests as a sanctuary, a private stair case leads to a comfortable, restful and unique apartment where everything is at your fingertips. Queen and twin beds offer you a cozy spot in which to curl up for a nap or read one of the books we provide. The full kitchen has every utensil you need to make meals. We stock the kitchen with milk, breads, butter, dry cereal, juice, eggs from our own chickens and ducks, tea and K-Bay Roasting Company's superb coffee. There are games, video's books, telephone, television and V.C.R.

The Nest, located just below The Birdhouse, has two twin beds, a T.V. and V.C.R. The twins can be converted to a king size bed. Intercoms make communicating between the two rooms easy. The Nest is decorated in rustic, Alaskan style. We hope you enjoy the antiques. From our deck you have the most gorgeous view of the Kenia Mountain Range, numberous glaciers, the Homer Spit and beautiful Kachemak Bay. We are near a park with tennis courts, slides and swings. A quarter of a mile away is a small country market and laundromat. We are 5 minutes from Homer, 10 from Homer Spit and 25 miles from the Anchor River!
